The Specialist Dentistry Center is a sub-organizational unit and a teaching base of the Faculty of Medicine Foca. The activities of the Specialist Center are focused on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of damages and diseases of soft and hard tissue of the oral cavity. Continuous scientific and professional improvement of the employed teachers and associates provides all our patients with dental care that is in accordance with the latest international standards.
The Specialist Center provides specialized dental care from the following branches of dentistry:
- Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry
- Dental Pathology and Endodontics
- Prosthodontics
- Periodontics and Oral Medicine
- Oral Surgery
- Orthodontics
With the existence of all specialties in one place, our patients have an interdisciplinary and individual approach to treatment, which can solve all dental problems. The Specialist Center also organizes practical teaching for students of dentistry at the Faculty of Medicine Foca and postgraduate training for specialists in six areas of dentistry.
Specialist dental services are provided at the request of the user or on the basis of a contract concluded by the Faculty of Medicine and the Republic Health Insurance Fund. Also, dental health care can be provided by patients in the context of practical teaching of dentistry students, which takes place under the constant supervision of teachers / associates. On over 1000 m2 there are 7 clinical halls, dental laboratory and X-ray room.

PEDIATRIC AND PREVENTIVE DENTISTRY
At the Department Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry are provided services aimed at preserving the health of deciduous and permanent teeth of children and adolescents under the age of 16. Great attention is focused on education of patients and application of preventive measures. All services are free.

DENTAL PATHOLOGY AND ENDODONTICS
The Department of Dental Pathology and Endodontics is in charge of protection of the health of teeth and surrounding tissues and prevention of the premature loss of permanent teeth in accordance with the most modern therapeutic protocols.

- Caries treatment (amalgam and aesthetic fillings)

PROSTHODONTICS
Functional and aesthetic rehabilitation of patients using the most up-to-date methods and in accordance with individual patient requirements are the main activities of the Department of Prosthodontics. Diagnosis and therapy of temporomandibular joint disorders are provided at the Department.

PERIODONTICS AND ORAL MEDICINE
The Department of Periodontics and Oral Medicine is in charge of the treatment of diseases of the tooth-supporting apparatus (periodontium) and soft tissue of the cavity by using conservative and surgical methods in accordance with the most modern therapeutic protocol activities.

ORAL SURGERY
At the Department of Oral Surgery at the academic level, oral surgery is performed for the purpose of treating tooth diseases and soft and hard tissue of the oral cavity that cannot be repaired by a conservative approach.

- Root tip resection
- Exposure of impacted/retained teeth

ORTHODONTICS
At the Department of Orthodontics, at the academic level, services of treating irregularities of the position of one or more teeth, which show both aesthetic and significant functional problem are being performed.

- Therapy with fixed appliances (aesthetic and metal braces)
DENTAL LABORATORY
Within the Specialist Center there is a modern dental laboratory in which all kinds of removable and fixed dentures, various types of appliances and teeth whitening trays are made.
X-ray ROOM
X-ray Room provides diagnostic services. Within the X-ray Room there are dental radiograph and orthopantomograph.
